Tiber Lane Repaving

Project status update
All drainage structures and storm sewer pipes have been installed. The remaining items that the contractor is working on include the following:
1.       Sub-grade preparation for asphalt paving
2.       Concrete valley gutter form and pour at north end of Tiber Lane
3.       Asphalt paving installation
4.       Driveway surface restoration
5.       Finish grading for areas in right-of-way adjacent to the road
6.       Seed / fertilizer / straw for grass areas

It is estimated that the project will be substantially complete by end of the March with final completion coming one to two weeks beyond that time.

Paving Operations
The contractor is planning to pave Tiber Lane on one day during the latter part of the week next week weather permitting. Once an exact day and time have been established for paving I will follow-up with another email to make everyone aware.

The paving operation will take place during an estimated four hour time period occurring around 9 a.m. or shortly thereafter to allow residents to leave the neighborhood for work. During the paving no vehicles or pedestrians will be allowed on the road. Once the four hour paving operation is complete, residents will be allowed to drive on the road surface almost immediately. To be clear, the asphalt will go down in the morning and vehicles will be able to drive on it later that same day.

It is recommended, if at all possible, that those with property access concerns park along Wesley Road prior to the start of the paving. Once paving begins it may be difficult to access or leave your property with your vehicle during the four hour paving process. Again, once paving is done vehicles will be able to drive on the road surface almost immediately.
