                                          Street Closure – North 11th Street

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29 and ending at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 1
WHERE:
·         North 11th Street between East Clay and East Leigh streets (6th Council District)
·         East Leigh Street between North 10th and North 11th Streets
BACKGROUND: The area will be closed to adjust an existing tower crane located at 1001 East Leigh Street. Motorists are urged to use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHEN:  Monday, April 1 through Friday, September 13 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
WHERE:  Midlothian Turnpike Bridge over Belt Boulevard (8th Council District)
BACKGROUND: There will be periodic lane closures for maintenance repairs, construction services and to pave the bridge. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control signage.

                          Lane Closure – Westmoreland Street and Honaker Avenue

WHEN:  Monday, April 1 through Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE:
·         Westmoreland Street between Cary Street and Grove Avenue (1st Council District)
·         Honaker Avenue between Barcroft Lane and Wessex Lane (1st Council District)
BACKGROUND: There will be alternating lane closures to install a traffic calming speed table. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control signage.

WHEN:  Wednesday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to Noon
WHERE:  Intersection of 16th Street and Maury Street (6th Council District)
BACKGROUND: The area will be closed to test the soil for a new signal pole. The work will occur during off-peak hours. Motorists are urged to drive carefully, follow traffic directions from the police and observe work zone signs.
