WHAT:  Lane Closure
 
WHEN:  Monday, November 1 through Friday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:  Huguenot Area: see the list of streets below (located in the 4th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures for paving.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 178 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering. WHAT:  Lane Closure
 
WHEN:  Monday, November 1 through Friday, November 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Main Street between 25th Street and Williamsburg Avenue (located in the 7th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The south sidewalk and curb lane will be temporarily closed to install traffic signal conduits. This work is part of the traffic signal system expansion project.

WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 5 and ending at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 7

WHERE: South 9th Street between East Cary and East Main streets (located in the 6th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to allow a crane to place materials on the roof at 909 East Main Street.
