Lane Closures on E Main St Between 19th and 21st from Oct 4-15

 Public Works will be installing traffic signals conduits in the south sidewalk of E Main Street between 19th and 21st streets between 7 am and 5 pm, Oct. 4-15. There will be lane closures as needed and temporary closures on sidewalks and curb lanes during the process.

This is in Council District 7.

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures for paving.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 178 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
