in progress to November 01 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (daily)
WHERE:
- 25th Street between Broad Street and Grace Street (in the 7th voter district)
- Marshall Street between 25th Street and 21st Street (in the 7th voter district)
- Hermitage Road between Laburnum Avenue and Westbrook Avenue (in the 3rd voter district)
- Westbrook Avenue between Hermitage Road and Brook Road (in the 3rd voter district)
- Azalea Avenue between Brook Road and Chamberlayne Avenue (in the 3rd voter district)
- Chamberlayne Avenue between Azalea Avenue and Laburnum Avenue (in the 3rd voter district)
- Laburnum Avenue between Chamberlayne Avenue and Brook Road (in the 3rd voter district)
BACKGROUND: There will be
intermittent lane and sidewalk closures during this process. Motorists and pedestrians must pay special attention to the construction signage.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is
one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United
States. DPW’s
portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection;
street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;
graffiti removal; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement
markings and civil engineering. In addition, DPW maintains upkeep on most city
buildings; issues permits for working in the city’s right-of-way; manages the
RVA Bike Share and scooter program. DPW’s operating budget comes from the
