                        Lane Closure – Belvidere Northbound & Southbound between Broad Street and the Robert E. Lee Bridge  

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Now through Friday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

WHERE:   Belvidere Street – NB and SB (between Broad Street and the Robert E. Lee Bridge)  

BACKGROUND:  There will be lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes of Belvidere Street to complete work on the Commonwealth Gateway - Belvidere Streetscape Project. This is Phase III of the project. It includes construction of a brick paver crosswalk at the Canal Street/Cumberland Street intersection of Belvidere Street. Other improvements include installing ADA ramps, pavement markings and pedestrian head signals.  Detour signs will be installed in both directions. Signs will be place on Belvidere Street at 2^nd Street heading north and on Belvidere Street at Broad Street heading south. Please follow the road signs.
