                        Bridge Closure – Belle Isle Vehicular Bridge

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Bridge Closure

WHEN:  Starting on Monday, February 15 through Friday, April 29 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

WHERE:  Belle Isle Vehicular Bridge

BACKGROUND: The Belle Isle Vehicular Bridge from Belle Isle to the South Bank of the James River will be closed to replace the bridge deck. There will be no access across the bridge during the closure. The bridge will be closed during the week but open on weekends to pedestrians and cyclists. Access to the island from the North Bank at Tredegar Iron Works will remain open during this project.
