WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Thursday, August 8 through Friday, December 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Located in the 1st Voter District:
·         Grove Avenue at Libbie Avenue
·         Grove Avenue at Maple Avenue

BACKGROUND: The sidewalk and one travel lane at each intersection will be closed to upgrade the signal at Grove and Libbie Avenue and to install a new traffic signal at Grove and Maple Avenue.  The installation includes: traffic mass arms, poles, foundation, signal heads, junction boxes, conduit, wire, pedestrian countdown indicators, a new traffic sign cabinet, ADA ramps, crosswalks, fiber, concrete work, trenching, milling and overlay, and pavement markings. The work will occur during off-peak hours to leave the streets open for the morning and evening rush hour traffic. Motorists are urged to use caution and follow the traffic signs.
