WHEN: Monday, April 22 to Wednesday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: In the 6th Voter District

  • East Fritz Street from Sewell Street to Dead End
  • Sewell Street from East Fritz Street to North 1st Street
  • East Fells Street from North 1st Street to Lamb Avenue
  • Lamb Avenue from East Fells Street to Dead End
  • Lamb Avenue from Poe Street to Dead End
  • Wellford Street from Lamb Avenue to Monteiro Street
  • Minor Street from Lamb Avenue to Monteiro Street
  • Tybee Terrace from Saint James Street to Lamb Avenue
  • Monteiro Street from Poe Street to Dead End
  • East Home Street from Lamb Avenue to Dead End
  • East Roberts Street from Lamb Avenue to Dead End
  • Althea Parkway from 1st Avenue to 1st Avenue
  • Montford to Dead End

BACKGROUND: The city will be milling and resurfacing the street in the areas listed above. Some travel lanes through this area may be temporarily closed during this process.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States.
