                                      Lane Closure – Chamberlayne Industrial Area

WHAT:  Lane Closure
 
WHEN:  March 14 through April 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (daily)

WHERE: the following streets in the 3rd voter district:

 Admiral Street from N Lombardy to Chamberlayne Parkway

Curie Street from Admiral to School Street

·         School Street from Brook Road to Dead End

·         Sledd Stret from Chamberlayne Pkwy to Webster Street

·         Webster Street from Sledd Street to Brook Road

·         Mitchell Street from Brook Road to the Dead End

·         W Bacon Street from Chamberlayne Pkwy to Hickory Street

·         W Fritz from Chamberlayne Pkwy to Fendall Avenue

·         Fendall Avenue from W Fells Street to the Dead End

 

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures for paving.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
