Lane Closure – Meadow Street

WHAT:  Lane Closure, Daily
 
WHEN:  Monday, October 31 to Friday, November 11 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: in the 2nd Voter District

·         Meadow Street from Floyd Avenue to Hanover Avenue

·         Meadow Street form Main Street to Broad Street

·         Cary Street from Nansemond Street to North Arthur Ashe boulevard

·         North Arthur Ashe Boulevard at Cary Street on Main Street to Meadow Street

BACKGROUND:  There will be temporary closure for sidewalks and curb lanes as the contractor will pulling fiber optic cable, installing junction boxes and cameras.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
