WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Tuesday, January 14 through Monday, February 10
WHERE: South 8th Street between Cary and Canal streets (located in the 6th voter district)
BACKGROUND: South 8th Street will be reduced to two lanes between Cary and Canal streets. Motorists who use South 8th Street to access the Downtown Expressway are encouraged to use alternate routes, such as 5th Street. The closure is needed to prepare the building at 701 East Cary Street for demolition.
