East Marshall Street Sewer Rehabilitation Project

The city will be conducting ongoing rehabilitation of sewer mains along E. Marshall St. bordered by N. 21st Street to the east and I-95 to the west. Expect disruptions to traffic patterns and parking restrictions along E. Marshall Street as construction progresses. Large trucks will be positioned within the work zone and an increased level of noise from vehicles and equipment.

Due to the size of existing sewers and the nature of the materials and installation procedures, this type of work is expected to extend beyond the normal daylight working hours. All residents affected by service disruptions will receive a 48-hour notice prior to any work commencing. This notice will be given via a door hanger tag hand-delivered to residents.

Most sewers in this are were installed in the early 1900s and have begun to deteriorate. There may be times when you'll be asked to limit or reduce the amount of water you discharge into the sewer.

This project is expected to take 150 days to complete. It is scheduled to start soon.
