WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Ramp Closure

WHERE:  NB on ramp of Manchester Bridge from 7^th Street and Semmes Avenue

WHEN:  Tuesday, April 7 through Friday, May 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

BACKGROUND:  The aforementioned area will be closed to allow for bridge painting and joint repairs. Detour signage will be in place.

Road Closure - Maury Street (b/w Commerce and Jeff Davis)

DATE:        Beginning Monday, April 6, 2015 until project complete

TIME:         9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

LOCATION:     1815 Maury Street

WORK:       Emergency sewer repair

IMPACT:     Blocks of Maury Street between Commerce Road and Jefferson Davis Boulevard will be closed during work hours each day.  There is 1 steel plate in roadway. Project can take up to two weeks. 

Road Closure - Forest Hill Avenue (3000 block)

DATE:        Monday, April 6, 2015

TIME:         8 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

LOCATION:     3060 Forest Hill Avenue

WORK:        Water main work

IMPACT:     3000 block of Forest Hill Avenue will be closed until 4pm.

Lane Closure - Downtown Area

·        Judah Street between West Leigh Street and West Duval Street

·        Cameo Street between East Jackson Street and Duval Street

·        West Duval Street between Brook Road and North 2^nd Street

WHEN:  Monday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 8, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures in the aforementioned area to allow for road repaving preparation.

The 2900 block of W. Leigh Street will be closed all day, April 1, for water utility work to install a six inch fire line.

·         westbound lanes impacted during a.m. hours

·         eastbound lanes impacted during p.m. hours

WHEN:   Monday, April 6 thru Monday, October 12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BACKGROUND:  The right travel lanes and adjacent parking lanes in the aforementioned area will be closed to allow for sidewalk reconstruction.
