Lane Closure – Meadow Street

WHEN:  Monday, November 28 to Friday, December 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: in the 2^nd Voter District

·         Meadow Street from Main Street to Broad Street

·         Cary Street from Nansemond Street to North Arthur Ashe Boulevard

·         North Arthur Ashe Boulevard at Cary Street on Main Street to Meadow Street

BACKGROUND:  There will be temporary closures for sidewalks and curb lanes as the contractor will be pulling fiber optic cable, installing conduit and junction boxes.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
