WHERE: Williamsburg Avenue at East Main Street (in the 7th voter district):

BACKGROUND: A lane closure and detour are required for the City contractor to conduct work associated with the intersection improvement at East Main Street and Williamsburg Avenue.  The closure affects the south bound lane of East Main Street. 

Westbound on East Main Street entering the City will remain open to traffic.

Detour: Drivers heading to Rockets/Eastern Henrico from the City should use Williamsburg Avenue and Nicholson Street until this phase of work is complete.
