Lane Closure – Westmoreland Street

WHEN:  Monday, November 14 to Friday, November 25 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: in the 1^st Voter District

·         Monument Avenue and Staples Mill Road to Grove Avenue and Westmoreland Street

·         Grove Avenue from Three Chopt Road to Libbie Avenue

·         Broad Street and Thompson Street

BACKGROUND:  There will be temporary closure for sidewalks and curb lanes as the contractor will be installing fiber optic cable, conduit and junction boxes.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
