Street Closure – South 9th Street

WHAT: Street Closure
WHEN: Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 5 and
ending at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 7
WHERE: South 9th Street between East Cary and East Main streets (located in the 6th
voter district)
BACKGROUND: The area will
be closed to allow a crane to place materials on the roof at 909 East Main
Street.

The City of Richmond Department of
Public Works (DPW) is one of only 178 currently accredited public works
agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio
comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk
and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;
graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs;
traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering. In addition, DPW
