BACKGROUND: This is the start of the
Williamsburg Avenue Bike Lane Improvement Project. The project will include new
pavement markings and signage installation to allow bike lanes to travel on
Williamsburg Avenue. The enhancements will improve bicyclists mobility and
safety by providing a separated buffered bike lane designed to increase the
level of comfort for bicyclists. There will be short term lane closures during
the project. Resident and emergency access along Williamsburg Avenue will be
maintained at all times.

The
