        Lane Closure – Intersection of West Cary Street and South Addison Street

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Monday, June 17 through Friday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: The intersection of West Cary Street and South Addison Street (located in the 5th Voter District)
BACKGROUND: The sidewalk and travel lanes on West Cary Street and South Addison Street will be closed to install new traffic signals at the intersection of the two streets. The project includes the installation of traffic mass arms, poles, signal heads, junction boxes, conduit, wire, pedestrian countdown indicators, ADA ramps, crosswalks, fiber, concrete work, trenching, pavement marking and a traffic signal cabinet. The work will occur during off-peak hours to leave the streets open for the morning and evening rush hour traffic. Please drive carefully and follow the traffic signs.
