BACKGROUND: One of the bridge piers in the area
listed above has experienced severe deterioration on the bridge seats where
beams are supported. The repair procedure will require jacking up the
adjacent bridge beams, which demands the closure of the right lane and sidewalk
during the entire repair period.

The City
