WHEN: May 16 through May 27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: The following corridors

North Arthur Ashe Boulevard and I-95 off ramp (2nd
voter district)
o The contractor
will be installing CCTV equipment and working adjacent to the eastbound lanes
of traffic
·
Chamberlayne Avenue ( 3rd voter district)
o The contractor
will be installing traffic signal and fiber optic conduits on and across
Chamberlayne Avenue from Edgehill Road to West Brookland Park Boulevard
·
Main Street from 15th Street to Pear
Street (7th voter district)
o The contractor
will be installing fiber optic cable along Main Street from 15th
Street to Pear Street
o The contractor
will be installing GPS TPS wire on 18th, 19th, and 20th
streets
o The contractor
will be working adjacent to the eastbound lanes of traffic

Patterson Avenue and Hamilton Street
o The contractor
will be installing fiber and messenger cable on Patterson Avenue & Hamilton
Street to the Alley South of Cary Street and Nanesmond Avenue
BACKGROUND: The curb lane and
sidewalk will be temporarily closed to allow the contractor to work in the aforementioned
areas. This work is part of the traffic
signal system expansion project.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is
