Street Closure North 8th Street and Duval Street

WHO: City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT: Street Closure WHEN: Friday, August 19 through Saturday, September 3

WHERE: The intersection of North 8th Street and Duval Street

BACKGROUND: This area will be closed due to construction and intersection improvements for the Duval Street Realignment project. The J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College parking deck will be accessible from 8th Street. Both the 8th Street and Duval Street entrances to the Virginia Commonwealth University parking deck will remain open.

DETOUR: Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. Commuters to I-95N/I-64W are encouraged to use the 3rd Street on-ramp; commuters to I-95S are encouraged to use the Broad Street interchange.
