Street Closures: Various Locations for CSX Work

 

WHO: City of Richmond Department of Public Works (https://twitter.com/DPW_RichmondVA)    WHAT:  Street Closures   WHEN: Starting at 6 a.m. on March 3 and ending at 2 p.m. on March 4 WHERE: The following locations: Main Street at Main Street Station Amtrack parking lot (affected spaces will be coned off) E Cary St (near Canal Crossing Bldg.) 15th & Cary Public Parking (affected spaces will be coned off) Dock St (the area where it passes under the trestle) Canal Walk Manchester road emergency access road BACKGROUND: CSX will be replacing the overhead rail lines that pass across the river.  Note: Work is scheduled to start on the Manchester side of the James River on Tuesday. The road closures for Shockoe Bottom are slated to happen on Wednesday.
