Street Closures – Southampton Area

WHAT: Lane Closure, Daily

WHEN: Thursday, April 24 to Friday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: In the 4th Voter District

  • Rustic Road from Oakleaf Road to Hickory Road
  • Elm Road from Oakleaf Road to North Huguenot Road
  • Waxford Road from North Huguenot Road to Dead End
  • Hickory Road from Cherokee Road to Chippenham Road
  • Southampton Road from Cherokee Road to Burgundy Road
  • Collingbourne Road from Cherokee Road to Burgundy Road
  • Arklow Road from Elm Road to Waxford Road
  • Burgundy Road from North Huguenot Road to Dead End
  • Old Holly Road from Hickory Road to Dead End
  • Oakleaf Road from Old Holly Road to Cherokee Road
  • Beechmont Road from Cherokee Road to Dead End

BACKGROUND: In the areas listed above a contractor will be resurfacing the street. Travel lanes through this area may be temporarily closed during this process.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States.
