WHAT: Lane Closure
WHEN: Monday,
October 30 to Friday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (daily)
WHERE: Richmond Highway at Bellemeade Road
(in the 8th Voter District)
BACKGROUND: The sidewalk and one travel
lane will be closed to allow the contractor to make repairs to the sidewalk, install
wheelchair ramps and paint the crosswalk. Please follow the detour.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is

in the city’s right-of-way; manages the RVA Bike Share program and maintains
the fleet of city vehicles. DPW’s operating budget comes from the general
