Street Closure – Ampthill Road

WHEN:  Monday, August 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: in the 1^st Voter District

·         Road Closure on 6 Ampthill Road

BACKGROUND:  The Road will be closed in order to set a crane to remove tree blockage. There will be advanced warning and detour signs in place for no through traffic.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 195 currently accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering.
