WHEN: March 21 through April 1from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: In the following areas:

Chamberlayne Avenue from Wickham Street
to W Ladies Mile Road (in the 3rd voter district)
·
Pear Street to Orleans Street - the contractor will be working adjacent to eastbound
lanes of traffic (in the 7th voter district)
BACKGROUND: The curb lane and
sidewalk will be temporarily closed to install fiber optic cable into traffic
signal conduits in the sidewalk areas listed above. This work is part of the traffic
signal system expansion project.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is
one of only 178 currently accredited public works agencies in the United
