WHEN: Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 18 from
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Located in the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th voter districts:

Along the following corridors:
o Arthur Ashe Boulevard
o Monument Avenue
o Clay Street
o Grove Avenue
o Three Chopt Road
o Nansemond Road
o Robinson Road
o Patterson Avenue
BACKGROUND: There will be
intermittent lane closures in the areas listed above for tree pruning. This work is part of the Systemic Sight
Distance Improvements at Signalized Intersections Project to improve
traffic signal visibility and help reduce crashes.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is
one of only 178 currently accredited public works agencies in the United
States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array
of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance;
trash collection; recycling; grass cutting; graffiti removal; parking
enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement
markings and civil engineering. In addition, DPW maintains upkeep on most city
buildings; issues permits for working in the city’s right-of-way; manages the
RVA Bike Share program and maintains the fleet of city vehicles. DPW’s
