BACKGROUND: There will be alternating lane
closures to install sidewalks, pavement extensions, bike sharrows and
pavement markings. This work is part of the Cannon Creek Connector Phase IV
Project. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control
signage.

The
City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 146 accredited
public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s
portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection;
street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling;
urban forestry; signs; signals and pavement markings; grass
