                                                  Street Closure – Dock Street

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March, 14 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

WHERE: The below areas will be impacted within the 7^th Council District:

·         Dock Street between 17^th and 21^st streets

·         Main Street between 15^th and 17^th streets

·         Intersection of Cary Street and 17^th Street

BACKGROUND: The area will be closed to allow CSX to perform maintenance on the railroad trestle. Motorists are urged to use caution and follow the detour signs.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 146 accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance;  trash collection; recycling;  urban forestry;  signs; signals and pavement markings;  grass cutting;  graffiti removal;  and parking.
