Street Closure – Richmond-Henrico Turnpike

WHEN: Saturday, July 16 through Saturday, July 30
WHERE: Richmond-Henrico Turnpike from the Valley Road intersection to the Dove Street Intersection
BACKGROUND: This area of the turnpike will be closed during construction of an off-road bicycle pedestrian trail. Other construction improvements include roadway crossings, pavement markings, trail signage, park benches, drainage improvements and landscaping along the proposed trail.
DETOUR: Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic from Dove Street intersection to 1st Avenue then through Matthews Street on to Valley Road.
