BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent alternating right lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes to allow for a bridge inspection.

                        Lane Closure – Forest Hill Avenue Bridge

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Monday, April 22 through Wednesday, January 15, 2014 

WHERE:  Forest Hill Avenue Bridge over Reedy Creek

BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent lane closures to allow for structural repairs, milling and overlay on the bridge deck and approaches.  One lane in each direction will be maintained throughout the project. 

ADDITIONAL CLOSING:    Bland Street will be closed at Forest Hill Avenue.  The detour will follow Carson Street to Beattie Street.  There will be signage at the detour.

WHEN:  Sunday, April 21, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

WHERE:  The following areas will be impacted by the closures:

·         Hanover Avenue between North Stafford Avenue and Strawberry Street

·         Stafford Avenue between Hanover Avenue and Stuart Avenue

BACKGROUND:  The sidewalk will be barricaded and curb lane will be closed on both sides of Hanover Avenue between North Stafford Avenue and Strawberry Street during the video shooting of a commercial.  Parking also will be prohibited on the eastbound side of North Stafford Avenue.
