WHAT:  Street Closure
 
WHEN: Starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 24 and ending at 5 a.m. on Friday, September 29 – this work will occur overnight (each night - starting at 8 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. daily)

WHERE: Warwick Road from Weatherford to Woodstock

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to install utilities. Message boards are in currently place at each end of the job site. Please slow down and follow the detour signs.

WHERE: Willway Avenue between Cary Street Road and Grove Avenue (in the 1st voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to allow a crane to remove a tree from 28 Willway Avenue.

WHERE: Grove Avenue (the 5600 block to the 5800) and the 100 block of Maple Avenue in the 1st voter district)

BACKGROUND:  One lane on Grove and one lane on Maple in the aforementioned area will be closed to allow the contractor to install fiber optic cable.

BACKGROUND: As a part of the HSIP Pedestrian Improvement at Signalized Intersection project, the contractor will be repairing sections of concrete sidewalk, installing pedestrian signal equipment and constructing improvements within the median in the area listed above. The curb lane, sidewalk, and median lane will be temporarily closed during this process.

WHERE: In the 1st Voter District

·         Eastbound lanes at the 500 block of Libbie Avenue, between Patterson Avenue and York Road

BACKGROUND: The contractor will mill and pave the travel lane and parking lane in the area listed above. Flaggers and signs will detour traffic. In the event of inclement weather, the closure will take place September 14.
