WHAT:  Street Closure
 
WHEN:  Starting at 6 a.m. on April 4 and ending at 4 p.m. on April 8

WHERE: Bells Road between Commerce Road and Richmond Highway

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to thru traffic to allow CSX to rework the railroad grade crossing. Please follow the detour.

WHEN:  Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 15 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: The following corridors in the 2nd voter district:

·         Hermitage Road from Sherwood Avenue to Robin Hood Road

·         Robin Hood Road from Hermitage Road to North Arthur Ashe Boulevard

·         North Arthur Ashe Boulevard from Robin Hood Road to Westwood Avenue

·         Hermitage Road from Westwood Avenue to Laburnum Park Boulevard

BACKGROUND:  The curb lane and sidewalk will be temporarily closed to allow the contractor to install traffic signal and fiber optic conduits in the sidewalk. The contractor will be working adjacent to the northbound lanes of traffic. This work is part of the traffic signal system expansion project.

BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent lane closures in the areas listed above for tree pruning. This work is part of the Systemic Sight Distance Improvements at Signalized Intersections Project to improve traffic signal visibility and help reduce crashes.
