                                          Street Closure – Broad, 10th and 11th streets

WHAT:  Street Closure
 
WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. Friday, November 19 and ending at 5 a.m. on Monday, November 22

WHERE: The following streets (in the 6th voter district):

·         WB Broad Street between College and 9^th streets

·         EB Broad Street between 8th and 12th streets

·         10th Street between Broad and Marshall streets

·         11th Street between Broad and Marshall streets

BACKGROUND:  The areas listed above will be closed to remove the construction tower crane from the Children’s Pavilion located at 1001 East Marshall Street. Please follow the detour signs.

Note: I-95 exit traffic will be routed from Broad to College to 13th to Duvall to 10th Street

·         Brook Road between West Clay Street and North Adams Street

·         Marshall Street between North Adams Street and North Madison Street

·         Jefferson Street between Marshall Street and Broad Street

WHEN:  Monday, November 15 through Tuesday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

WHERE: Located in the 2nd, 4th, 8th and 9th voter districts:

·         The intersection of Broad Street and DMV Drive

·         The intersection of Belvidere and Clay streets, and

·         Along the following corridors:

o   Walmsley Boulevard

o   Warwick Road

o   Westover Hills Boulevard, and

o   Hopkins Road

BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent lane closures in the areas listed above to allow the contractor to prune trees. This work is part of the Systemic Sight Distance Improvements at Signalized Intersections Project to improve traffic signal visibility and help reduce crashes.

WHERE: Main Street between 26th and Williamsburg Avenue (located in the 7th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The south sidewalk and curb lane will be temporarily closed to install traffic signal conduits. This work is part of the traffic signal system expansion project.

                                          Street Closure – Nine Mile Road

WHEN:  Starting at 7 a.m. Monday, November 15 and ending at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23

WHERE: Nine Mile Road from T to 27th streets (located in the 7th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to construct a roadway. This work is part of the Nine Mile Road Improvements Project which includes the installation of sidewalks, streetlights and curb extensions along Nine Mile Road from 25^th Street to the I64 Interchange.
