WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Wednesday, June 10 through Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Hioaks Road between Carnation Street and Jahnke Road (located in the 9^th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures for paving.

                     Lane Closure – West Broad Street at North Hamilton Street

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN: Tuesday, June 9 through Friday, September 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: The intersection of West Broad Street and North Hamilton Street (located in the 1^st and 2nd voter districts)

BACKGROUND:  The sidewalk and one travel lane will be closed to upgrade the traffic signal. Work will include installing traffic mass arms, poles, foundations, signal heads, junction boxes, conduit wire, pedestrian countdown indicators, ADA ramps, concrete work, crosswalks, trenching and pavement restoration. Work will occurring during off-peak hours to leave streets open for the morning and evening rush hour. Drive safely and follow the work zone signage.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

WHERE: North Arthur Ashe Boulevard between Floyd Avenue and Ellwood Avenue (located in the 1st voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The southbound lanes will be closed to allow a crane to perform work at 6 North Arthur Ashe Boulevard. Please follow the detour signs.

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN: Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 5 and ending at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 7

WHERE: East Broad Street between 9th and 10th streets (located in the 6th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The eastbound lanes of the aforementioned area will be closed to allow a crane to set steel beams on the General Assembly Building located at 923 East Broad Street. Please follow the detour signs.
