WHERE: The intersection of West Broad Street and North Hamilton Street (located
in the 1st and 2nd voter districts)
BACKGROUND: The sidewalk
and one travel lane will be closed to upgrade the traffic signal. Work will
include installing traffic mass arms, poles, foundations, signal heads,
junction boxes, conduit wire, pedestrian countdown indicators, ADA ramps, concrete
work, crosswalks, trenching and pavement restoration. Work will occurring during
off-peak hours to leave streets open for the morning and evening rush hour. Drive
safely and follow the work zone signage.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is
