WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Monday, October 21 through Monday, October 28, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:  The following areas will be impacted by the closures:

·         14^th Street between Dock Street and Main Street

·         15^th Street between Cary Street and Dock Street

·         Cary Street between 14^th Street and 15^th Street

BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent lane closures in the aforementioned areas to allow for milling and paving.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  October 10, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

WHERE:  Intersection of Broad Street and Lombardy Street

BACKGROUND:  The aforementioned area will be closed to allow for installation of a new traffic signal cabinet.  Thru and right turn movements will be allowed on Broad Street.  Only right turn movement will be permitted onto Lombardy Street.  Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closures

WHERE:  10^th Street and 11^th Street between East Marshall Street and Broad Street

WHEN:  The aforementioned areas will be closed from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on the following dates:

·         Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6

·         Friday, November 1 through Sunday, November 3

·         Friday, November 15 through Sunday, November 17

·         Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8

Also, the intersection of 10^th Street and East Broad Street will be closed to westbound traffic from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Friday, October 18 through Sunday, October 20.

BACKGROUND:  These areas will be closed to allow for construction and the operation of a crane at the site of the new Children’s Pavilion at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University.
