WHERE: Tredegar Street from Brown’s Island Way to 5th Street

BACKGROUND:  The area eastbound side of Tredegar Street will be closed for the construction of new sidewalk. Work should be completed in 80 days.

  • The corner of P Street and Mosby Street

BACKGROUND: In the area listed above the contractor will be removing an old pole and installing a new one on behalf of Dominion Energy. P Street, from Mosby Street going East will be closed. There will be a detour for traffic to navigate through on Mosby Street. Travel lanes through this area will be temporarily closed during this process.

There will be numerous “No Parking” zones and street closures in effect as a result of the upcoming River City Half Marathon and 5K. Runners will take to city streets on Saturday, March 8.

The Richmond Police Department is asking motorists and pedestrians to be aware of the many roads that will be closed across the city to accommodate the event. No parking zones are in effect at 4 a.m., Saturday, March 8.
