Lobby Day 2025 Road Closures and No Parking Zones

The Richmond Police Department asks the public to be aware of several road closures and ‘No Parking’ zones that will be in effect during Lobby Day 2025.

 

The RPD, in collaboration with partner law enforcement agencies, is dedicated to ensuring the public can safely access the Virginia State Capitol grounds for the annual Lobby Day event with legislators. The road closures and no parking zones are implemented to support this effort.

Roads will be closed from 6 a.m. –6 p.m., Monday, January 20, ‘Street Closure’ map is below.

The following roads will be closed during that time:

• North 9^th Street between East Main and East Broad streets
• East Franklin Street between North 8^th and North 9^th streets
• East Grace Street between North 8^th and North 9^th streets

‘No Parking’ zones will be established from 5 a.m. -6 p.m., Monday, January 20, ‘No Parking’ map is below.

• North 9^th Street between East Broad and East Main streets
• East Franklin Street between North 8^th and North 9^th streets
• East Grace Street between North 8^th and North 9^th streets
• North 14^th Street between East Broad and Bank street
