WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Monday, March 16 through Thursday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: The below areas will be impacted:

·         24^th Street between Leigh Street and Jefferson Avenue

·         Leigh Street between 24^th Street and Jefferson Avenue

VOTER DISTRICT: 7

BACKGROUND:  There area will be closed during installation/repair of sidewalks, curb extensions and handicap ramps.

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW) is one of only 146 accredited public works agencies in the United States. DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance;  trash collection; recycling;  urban forestry;  signs; signals and pavement markings;  grass cutting;  graffiti removal;  and parking.
