WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works (https://twitter.com/DPW_RichmondVA) 

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Saturday, May 4 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: West Cary Street between South Harrison and South Linden streets (located in the 5th Council District)

BACKGROUND: The area will be closed to use a crane to perform HVAC work at 1000 West Cary Street. Motorists are urged to use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHEN:  Wednesday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: West Broad Street between DMV Drive and Terminal Place (located in the 2nd Council District)
BACKGROUND: The curb travel lane will be closed to allow Dominion Energy to perform duct bank excavations at 2500 West Broad Street. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control signage.

WHEN:  Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
WHERE: 9th Street between Broad and Grace streets (Located in the 6th Council District)
BACKGROUND: The area will be closed to install conduits for a traffic signal at 201 North 9th Street. Please note that one lane will be open and the work will occur from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control signage.
