WHERE: Fan District – streets bordering Meadow, Harrison, Grace and Main streets
BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works will start construction on
the Fan District Crosswalk and Corner Clearance Marking Project tomorrow. Construction
is expected to last approximately two months, weather permitting. There will be
alternating lane closures to install crosswalks, stop bars and corner clearance
marks in the throughout the areas listed above. The project will enhance safety
for pedestrians crossing throughout the Fan District. Please drive carefully
and follow the traffic signs.

The
