WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Tuesday, October 30 through Tuesday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:
·         Stony Point Road between West Huguenot Road and Evansway Lane
·         Evansway Lane between Stony Point Road and Cedar Grove Road
·         Cedar Grove Road between Evansway Lane and Croatan Road
·         Croatan Road between Cedar Grove Road and Cherokee Road  
BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures in the aforementioned areas for paving. Please drive carefully and follow the road signs.

WHEN:  
·         Monday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and
·         Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 29 and ending at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30
WHERE: Dock Street between 21st and East Main streets  
BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to thru traffic to allow the Department of Public Utilities to complete utility work. Please drive carefully and follow the detour signs.

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to thru traffic to remove a tree from 103 Pepper Avenue. Please drive carefully and follow the detour signs.

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 24 through Friday, April 5, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: The intersection of Forest Hill Avenue at Westower Drive  
BACKGROUND:  The sidewalk and travel lane on Forest Hill at Westower Drive will be closed to install a new traffic signal. The project includes the installation of traffic mass arms, poles, signal heads, junction boxes, conduit, wire, pedestrian countdown indicators, ADA ramps, crosswalks, fiber, concrete work, trenching, marking and pavement restoration and a traffic signal cabinet. The work will occur during off-peak hours to leave the streets open for the morning and evening rush hour traffic. Please drive carefully and follow the road signs.
