WHERE:  Westover Hills Boulevard between Forest Hill Avenue and the Nickel Bridge.

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating lane closures in the aforementioned area to allow for milling and repaving.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Thursday, August 28 through Wednesday, September 3, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:  Sheppard Street between I-195 and Grant Avenue

BACKGROUND:  The aforementioned areas will be closed to allow for milling and repaving.

N. Wilton Road Detours Sept. 2-26

Starting the week of Sept. 2, weather permitting, a contractor working for the Department of Public Utilities will be making drainage improvements on N. Wilton Road between its intersections with Kingsbury Road and Dillwyn Road. During construction, it will be necessary to close a short section of N. Wilton and detour traffic via the intersection of Seneca and Dillwyn roads, and at the intersection of Seneca and Kingsbury roads.

Planned work is the installation of a manhole, replacing a line of pipe, repairing cavitations, and restoring the pavement. The project is estimated to take three weeks to complete (approx. Sept. 26).
