                                            Street Closure – East Broad Street 

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works (https://twitter.com/DPW_RichmondVA) 

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN: Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8 and ending at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 10
WHERE: East Broad Street between 9th and 10th streets (located in the 6th voter district)
BACKGROUND:  The eastbound lanes of the aforementioned area will be closed to allow a crane to set steel beams on the General Assembly Building located at 923 East Broad Street. Please follow the detour signs.

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 and ending at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8
WHERE: East Main Street between 15th and 17th streets (located in 6th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to allow CSX to safely replace large wooden ties on the overhead trestle. Please follow the detour signs.

WHERE: Valley Road between Hospital Road and the Richmond-Henrico Turnpike (located in 6th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to repair the CSX grade crossing. Please follow the detour signs.
