WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:   Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
WHERE:  2nd Voter District:
·         Suffolk Road between Brookland Parkway and Westwood Avenue
·         Wilmington Avenue between Brook Road and Hermitage Road
·         Confederate Avenue between Hermitage Road and Brook Road
BACKGROUND: There will be periodic lane closures for paving. Motorists are urged to use caution and observe the traffic control signage.

DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance;  trash collection; recycling;  urban forestry;  signs; signals and pavement markings;  grass cutting;  graffiti removal;  and parking. 14th Street Closed for Water Main Repair

When:          Beginning Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. until further notice
What:          Repairing water main
Where:        North bound lane of 14th Street between Bank Street and Broad Streets is closed
Who:            City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities (DPU) Water Distribution division
                     This closure is likely to affect rush hour traffic in the area.

                                          Street Closure – East Main Street 
WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works (https://twitter.com/DPW_RichmondVA) 

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:   Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 11 and ending at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 12
WHERE: 9th Street from East Main to Bank (located in the 6th voter district)

BACKGROUND: On Friday, October 11, 9th Street will be closed from East Main Street to Bank Street from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to assemble a crane. On Saturday, October 12, 9th Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. to replace an AC unit at 830 East Main Street. Note: VCU and Capital Police will be in place to assist motorists. Also, valet service for The Commonwealth Hotel will be open via Franklin Street to 9th Street to Bank Street. Please follow the detour signs and drive safely.
