WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN: Friday, May 25 thru Tuesday, May 29, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

WHERE: North 10^th Street between East Broad Street and

BACKGROUND: The area will be closed during replacement of a cooling tower on the roof at 900 E. Broad St.

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Friday, May 25 thru Sunday, May 27, noon to noon

WHERE: The following areas will be impacted:

·         Cary Street between South 5^th and South 6^th streets

·         South 6^th Street between East Main and East Cary streets

·         Parking and northbound travel lanes on South 5^th Street

BACKGROUND: The above areas will be closed during unloading and installation of generators at 600 E. Canal St.

WHERE: Dock Street between 15^th and 18^th streets

BACKGROUND: The area will be closed while CSX performs work on the trestle. DO NOT DRIVE BENEATH THE WORK ZONE. Follow detours and drive carefully

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Monday, May 21 from 9 am to noon

WHERE: East Canal Street between 12^th and Virginia streets  

BACKGROUND: The aforementioned area will be closed to use a crane to perform HVAC work at 119 Shockoe Slip. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHERE: East Main Street between Williamsburg Avenue and Nicholson Street  

BACKGROUND: The aforementioned area will be closed to pave the new roundabout. Traffic will use Williamsburg Avenue to access Rockett’s Landing. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Monday, May 21 through Monday, May 28 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:

·         East 19^th Street between Maury and Stockton streets

·         East 18^th Street between Everett and Decatur streets

·         East 17^th Street between Maury and Hull streets

·         East 16^th Street between Maury and Hull streets

·         East 15^th Street between Everett and Hull streets

BACKGROUND: There will be alternating lane closures in the aforementioned areas for paving. Please follow the road signs.

BACKGROUND: Two travel lanes will be closed while a crane sets and A/C unit on a building. Motorists must observe all signage.
