                       Street Closure – West Marshall Street

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 16 and ending at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 17

WHERE: West Marshall Street between North Adams and North 1^st streets  

BACKGROUND: The aforementioned area will be closed to erect a tower crane at 0 West Marshall Street.  There will be a short closure on West Marshall Street between Brook Road and North Adams to deliver the crane and for trucks to leave the site. Alley access for properties on both sides of this closure will be maintained. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

                       Street Closure – North Grove Avenue

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Monday, March 19 through Thursday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: The Intersection of Grove Avenue and North Thompson Street  

BACKGROUND: North Thompson Street at the south side of Grove Avenue will be closed to through traffic to excavate and install a traffic signal conduit. Work will occur during off-peak hours to leave the streets open for the morning and evening rush hour. North and southbound traffic will be detoured around the work zone. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 16 and ending at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 18

WHERE: East Canal Street between 6^th and 7^th streets  

BACKGROUND: The aforementioned area will be closed to make adjustments to the on-site tower crane at 600 East Canal Street. Access to the Delta Hotel will be available from 5^th Street. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Tuesday, March 13 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Intersection of 14^th and Main streets   

BACKGROUND: The eastern northbound lane on 14^th Street and the northern westbound lane on Main Street will be closed to allow the City contractor to access a manhole to perform fiber optic repairs needed to begin testing of the new BRT system. Please use caution and follow the road signs.

WHEN:  Tuesday, March 6 through Thursday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: West Cary Street between Paxton Road and Ampthill Road  

BACKGROUND: The eastbound lane of the aforementioned area will be closed to allow Davey Tree Company to remove two hazardous trees along that section of West Cary Street Road. Please use caution and follow the traffic signs.
